Like vs. Share: First, lets discuss what it means to like or share - TopicsExpress

Like vs. Share: First, lets discuss what it means to like or share a post. When you like a post, you are saying more than I like this. You also are saying something like I support/believe this or I understand what youre going through. Shares, on the other hand, are far more valuable to a business, as they increase its reach exponentially. Shares also are harder to earn. The post has to communicate something about the person sharing it or forge a bond between that person and their friends and followers. According to social media expert, Brian Carter, [w]hen we click share, were obviously saying I like this so much, I wish I had created it myself. I want everyone Ive connected with on Facebook to see it. Im ok with my family, coworkers, supervisors, bosses — and anybody else Ive friended, knowing that I like it. — Sherice Jacob bryantmcgill/quotes/vs-share-first-ive-friended-knowing.html
