Lily-Rose is restless and I really need her to sleep well tonight. Ive been rubbing her back gently as she lays, and its working. I just flashed back to being very young, my mothers strong tanned fingers tirelessly rubbing my back and stroking my hair. Nobody else has ever loved me quite like that, I glance down and see the same hand and now feel the same love. I used to think she did it just for me, but now I see that she enjoyed it too :) I have never loved anyone or anything so much in my life until I first laid eyes on my beautiful perfect daughter.
