Linda, a chihuahua-pug mix at only six years-old, with a perfect behavior rating during her medical exam, was still put down at the shelter. Do NOT think for a second that the shelter only puts down hard-to-place dogs and cats. And, rescue groups are always beyond capacity. We need to be more vocal about teaching each other about what it means to commit to a pets life to their last breath, not dumping them at any shelter. By the way, no-kill doesnt mean no-kill. It just means the shelter puts downs animals at another facility. We all need to be much more vocal!
