Linda and I ate out as usual this Saturday evening. I dont normally take photos of the fare, but this is worth mentioning. The place is Thai Spice on19th street in the Houston Heights. Linda had the shrimp vermicelli and I, the red snapper. The snapper was rated 2 red peppers on their menu (about 250 on the Scoville Scale) as an aside, Ghost peppers rate 200 on the scale while Jalapenos rate a paltry 20. In short the snapper was great and the ice tea even better. Thai Spice is easy on the pocketbook and Che, the Vietnamese waitress who speaks with a Texas accent is delightful.
