Lindas new movie The Wound and The Gift is now on kickstarter. Linda Hoagland, a bilingual of English and Japanese, is known as a movie director as well as a translator of movies that were directed by Japanese top directors including Akira Kurosawa and Hayao Miyazaki. The Wound and The Gift tells how wounded animals appreciate help by humans and also how the human who have rescued the animals are gifted through the help of the animals in return. The movie depicts real life scenes in natural sanctuaries and people working there in collaboration with an ancient Japanese fable cranes return of a favor （鶴の恩返し）. When you donate more than $100 on kickstarter, you are invited to an exclusive sneak preview and benefit concert featured by Ryuichi Sakamoto, renown Japanese musician, in Greenwich village starting at 3pm on May 10th.
