Hall Help us to ready our river for fishing, kayaking and canoeing Volunteers needed to Pick up and bag debris along the river banks, parks and launch areas Pick up trash and trim branches in the river Clear obstructions and cut passage through trees that have fallen Move cut logs to the river’s edge for bank stabilization & habitat We need volunteers with their own chainsaws, loppers, hand saws, Bring your canoes, kayaks and flat bottomed boats for hauling trash and supplies Meet at 8:00am at the Argentine Township Hall for a free pancake breakfast and to register. We will go over a few safety tips and find out what everyone’s interests are. Sign up by calling City of Linden 735-7980 or Argentine Township at 735-5050 Dress for getting in the river. Long sleeves and long pants (no sweat pants) will help protect you from bug bites, scratches and poison ivy! You may want to bring bug spray, sun block, Wear protective shoes. No flip-flops, sandals Bring gloves that fit & hand tools that can be used on smaller debris
