Linnie Barbour had one request for Ollies guitar lesson.....dont talk about shooting people in the face. Within the first minute of sitting down he says sooo.....Kurt Cobain... I could tell that hes been saving this up all week and tentatively reply uhhhh yeah?! When he shot himself, did he just put the gun up to his forehead so it hit his brain? I didnt know how to tackle this. I had the words of his mother ringing in my head, but the educator in me, couldnt have him believing such inaccuracies. So I replied ummm think it was in his mouth actually What so he just swallowed the bullet? I thought to myself ahhh shit...its happened again But I was already committed to the conversation, the little bugger trapped me. I had no choice but to explain that he probably angled the gun up towards his brain through his mouth. Ollies final reply was ahh cool. Can we learn foo fighters? I probably shouldnt teach kids...
