Lisa Palas live this Wednesday nite at Lundyvilles Acoustic Stage. Show start at &:30 and admission is $5.00.. Lisa Palas is an award-winning songwriter with several #1 hits to her credit. Her songs have been recorded by country stars Alabama, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Kris Kristofferson, Chris LeDoux, Lee Greenwood, The Whites, Jana Stanfield, Jim Nabors Conway Twitty, The Oak Ridge Boys and others. Her songs are included in the soundtracks of feature films such as “Disappearing Acts” starring Wesley Snipes. Lisa has also scored independent films and musicals for the stage, including Jack for Louisville, Kentucky’s Walden Theater and “Looking For Mrs. Santa Claus” for Studio Players in Lexington, KY. She also wrote and recorded “THE GIFT YOU GAVE”, a tribute to the U.S. military that welcomes World War II veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the WWII Memorial by Honorflight. “Smiley Pete”, written and recorded by Lisa is included on cd in the book “Smiley Pete” written by Margaret Price Swim. Lisa penned the title cut on Anita Hall’s debut cd “Send Love” and a second cut by Anita called “That’s What Angels Do”. This cd was named Best Inspirational cd at the 2010 Hawaii Music Awards and was nominated for Best Gospel cd for the 2010 Hawaii NARAS awards. Lisa is a member of ASCAP and a lifetime member of the Nashville Songwriters Association, International and served on its Board of Directors for 17 years. Lisa serves on the faculty of Songu and is a Pro Advisor for the Nashville Songwriters Association, International.
