Lisa, this is a seriously impressive piece of work. Your analytical insight is thought-provoking and genuinely original – quite a feat with a text such as Jekyll and Hyde, where there has been so much scholarship already. You offer excellent and detailed readings of the novella, set against an engaged understanding of the historical context of same-same desire in the late nineteenth century. You write with fluency and sophistication, clearly guiding the reader through your ideas and offering a compelling and convincing argument: very well done! Pretty happy with that :)
