John 14: 23-24 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Fathers which sent me. If we truly love God we will keep and uphold his words, the whole Bible, not just parts that we choose to because we dont like that other parts say we are wrong, for it is all Gods word and his word is truth. Matthew 7: 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven Is it Gods will that you keep drinking all those beers, is it his will to go and smoke marijuana with your so called friends, is it in his will that you never go to church to fellowship with his people, or never open the bible and study his word?? Is it in his will that you protect his word and defend his namesake? Remember that everything we do should be done in Gods name that it might edify him, and we must do his will, not just when we feel like it is necessary. So hey guys lets go to the strip club and study the bible.. is that going to please God? If you are worried what your buddies might think, then you should know that if they were real friends they would not care. Do not put anything or anyone between you and God, Do not worry about people hating you, Do not fear what this world might try to do to you, for if you truly have Christ then you have nothing to fear. Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear ? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid ? Uphold his word, pray for strength and give all honor and glory to God and have a blessed weekend!
