List of released United players Frederic Veseli - Defender Frederic Veseli has been released by United – just 17 months after signing from City.The 20-year-old Swiss arrived at Old Trafford on a free transfer last January. Reece Brown, younger brother of former Old Trafford favourite Wes, is also out of contract. Brown, 21, was once tipped as a better prospect than his older sibling but was hampered by injury.The centre-back spent time on loan at Coventry last season before temporarily joining Championship side Ipswich Town in February but played only once. John Cofie, 20, is also on the released list after loan spells with Royal Antwerp, Sheffield United and Notts County.He arrived at United in 2007 from Burnley after the club fought off competition from Liverpool and Chelsea for his signature. Kenji Gorre – the 18-year-old son of former Ajax, Huddersfield Town and Barnsley midfielder Dean – is also leaving. He had a trial with Scottish champions Celtic last season but could not earn a permanent deal. Gorre also enjoyed a trial spell with Swansea and his dad said he would be signing for the Capital One Cup holders in time for the 2013-14 season. Luke McCullough, 19, is also left United. McCullough captained the academy side in 2011 and was loaned to League Two’s Cheltenham but made just one substitute appearance. Italian defender Michele Fornasier, 19, Manchester-born defender Matthew Wilkinson, 18, and Salford left-back Luke Giverin 20, are also listed. {MG14}
