Listening to.....Depeche Mode-In Your Memory ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ This was the B-Side from Depeche Modes 1984 hit single People Are People & remains one of my favourite B-Sides by Depeche Mode. I always felt that In Your Memory was an underrated song that has a great importance to the history of Depeche Mode. It was infact a song written by band member Alan Wilder whom 10 years after this songs release would quit the band during the peak of their success to focus on his own musical project Recoil. Wilders Recoil delivered the most interesting & enduring of all of the band members solo ventures. I highly enjoyed Dave Gahans two solo albums & also Martin Gores two covers albums but listening to Recoil is a totally different experience to listening to Depeche Mode. In Your Memory has a unique, almost experimental melody which is definetly a precursor to Recoil. A classic & often neglected B-Side to a classic A-Side in People Are People. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
