Listening to Dr. Vandana Shiva on KCUR this morning. What an amazing voice of reason and fact in world full of corporate misinformation about food, nutrition and hunger! The data she has shows that genetic modification of foods does a fine job of selling herbicides, pesticides and monopolizing control of food production in the hands of a few huge corporations, but in fact, exacerbates global hunger and disease, while not coming close to delivering on yield promises, and actually decreasing biodiversity, making the food we eat less nutritious.
