Listening to Sam Jackson, E. Bowier and C. Wesseh recount events leading to the April 14, 1979 riot and the subsequent overthrowing of our nation only progressive and forward looking leader (Dr. William R. Tolbert) reinforces my dislike for the antics of our so-called progressives. Their comments on the Truth Breakfast Show vindicate me of not being a fan of those so-called progressives. Whenever those opportunists masquerading as progressives have been given the chance ( i.e., PRC, IGNU, NPP and UP) of demonstrating their belief in the causes for which they put the lives of many Liberians on slaughtering slabs, they have been found to not only betray their own advocacies but to be no difference from the persons and reigns they advocated against. Hopefully, we can begin seeing them as the mere opportunists they truly are and as the chief culprits for most of our recent woes.
