Listening to and responding to the people is what government should be doing, not herding us like cattle into where they want us to go. Online trolls hired by government are looked at in this very good report about trolls paid to change public opinion. Our governments are spending millions of dollars on this. Government should not be driving opinion AT ALL. They should be LISTENING to the opinion of the people who have hired them to govern.
