Listening to conversations in the classroom has left me somewhat burdened today. I probably wont get a lot of agreements on this post , but where are the parents of some of these kids? I am in no position to give advice on parenting because Im not one, but It seems that parental guidance is a thing of the past for a lot of people. I was blessed with a solid raising.. I was taught good morals, honesty, and integrity. I was disciplined (quite often) and I turned out okay. I guess maybe Im old-fashioned in my thinking and beliefs, and I know its not popular in public education today, but my students know and my kids for sure know that The Lord is welcome in my classroom ALL the time. We had a community prayer service this past Monday night for our schools. The prayers need to continue because without prayer and an intervention from The Lord, Im afraid that some will be lost. God help me to be a light! Keep the prayers coming for these kids and our schools.
