Listening to my daughter practice piano on her own after dinner and shower. And she practiced earlier as well. All on her own. When music inspires you to grow and improve, you understand the magic. I never force her, or even have to suggest it. Usually I just hear her go for it. Reminds me of a young Kiku with a beat up trumpet and a swollen mug. I think its time to get that piano tuned. It totally bugs her that its out of tune, but she goes for it anyway. Perhaps time to find her a proper teacher soon, though she does very well for herself, especially with us here to answer questions. But that ear of hers, that brain, and that love for music... those are all incredible gifts. And David Gibson is recording his next record today.
