Listening to the Voice of Conscience We have all heard it said, "Let your conscience be your guide." Is that a good thing? Is that a good thing? Our "conscience" however, is not a sufficient guide in and of itself because it cannot tell you what is right and wrong. It can only tell you whether we are doing right or wrong based on the information it receives from our belief system or faith. If your belief system is wrong, then your conscience will give you wrong information. The "Voice of Conscience" must be the Word of God. "Your word is a lamp unto my feet, a light unto my path" (Psalm 119:105).
