Day Two of the 15th Annual Twin Lakes Fellowship (hosted by First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, MS at the Twin Lakes Camp and Conference Center) is a wrap, and it has been a tremendous blessing and a feast for the soul. David Strain started us off today in morning worship with a powerful exposition, William Mackenzie (husband of the famous Carine Mackenzie!), founder of Christian Focus Publications gave a terrific talk on the ministry of books. Carl Robbins led a wonderful report session including an interview with Iver Martin, Minister of the Stornaway Free Church and Principal of Edinburgh Theological Seminary, who updated us on the ecclesiastical, political and moral situation in Scotland. Terry Johnson led in a fervent prayer of blessing on the evangelical churchmen of Scotland (some of whom have walked away from their buildings and manses and salaries for the sake of the Gospel and fidelity to Scripture). In the evening service, Dr. Douglas Kelly preached a moving message calling us to prayer (the service was ably led by Dr. Charlie Wingard, Professor of Pastoral Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary Jackson).
