Lists, Groups, Moderation and the NCA - Here is some information about the administration, moderation and ownership of email lists and Facebook groups. The NCA moderates 3 pages on Facebook- the main NCA page, the NCA Juniors page and the Charitable Trust page on Causes˙. All other pages, groups and discussions on Facebook are 100% owned, administered and moderated by the individuals who set up the group. The NCA does not have any public email lists. The NCA does not own nor does it moderate the members or content of Newf-L, Newf-Tech, NCA-DL, newfoundlands@yahoo or newfoundlands2@yahoo. You can find list admins on Facebook by clicking the Members in the upper right and filtering for admins. You can find list moderators for email discussion lists by going to the groups webpage (groups.yahoo- search list name) Newf-L is hosted by the University of Colorado and is unmoderated. For those people who are confused because links to the various pages of the NCA website are often shared- Links are posted to the NCA website because it is a wealth of information and is made available to all of Newfdom worldwide. And many people who post that info are not NCA members, just people who are concerned about sharing information and education about the breed. The NCA does not own or moderate newfrescue, their mailing list or Facebook group - that is an independent coalition that includes the NCA and many regional club rescues in addition to independent rescuers who do multiple breeds and/or mixes. and now back to your regularly scheduled programming…
