Little Havana was fostered by a wonderful volunteer. Another volunteer wanted to adopt her and took her overnight (foster to adopt), but found out her other dog needed major surgery. Havana went back to the foster mom who wanted to adopt her. Unfortunately we were already working with a family for her. Last night the family met her and although they loved her, felt her legs were too long as they travel a lot by plane and take their dog with them. After the family left the adoption director told the foster mom about returned dogs and the great second family that they get, that it always happens this way, its whats meant to be. The foster mom cried and took Havana home. Congratulations on being a foster failure :-). Havana has a great home!
