Live so that when your children think of fairness and integrity, they think of you. How we live our lives begins with thoughts of the mind and eventually through behaviors and habits those thoughts evolve into a level of character. As a father of the family, a mother, brother or sister, how do you handle fairness? Is honesty displayed in your daily interactions at the grocery store, at work, with family and friends? What behavior patterns do your children observe that reflect your level of fairness and sound character? Fathers and mothers have the opportunities to model lives of fairness and strong traits of integrity. Those little eyes and ears mimic those they revere the most (mom and dad). Be willing to inspect your daily living habits. Give your children a legacy of a solid foundation from which to grow their character and faith for the future.
