The International Centre for Energy, Environment & Development (ICEED) is a Nigerian think tank focused on addressing climate change and promoting clean energy through policy research, advocacy and communication on the low carbon economy.Oxfam and ICEED, with funding support from the European Union and the National Planning Commission (NPC) as the contracting authority, are collaborating in the implementation of a four year project on renewable energy production, including Agro-forestry.  The project is aimed at sustainably improving the fuel-wood balance and resilience of livelihoods of rural households in 7 LGAs in Katsina state by increasing wood supply through farmer managed natural regeneration whilst reducing fuel wood demand through dissemination and use of fire wood efficient stoves.  While Oxfam is responsible for the delivery of the Agro-forestry component, ICEED is charged with managing that of the efficient cookstoves, with the two organizations working in close Oxfam GB livelihood and private sector engagement programme in Nigeria and lead on related strategy development.The livelihood and Private Sector Programme Manager will be the main liaison person for livelihood and private sector activities between Oxfam GB and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development officials and Non- Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and private sector involved in ensure coherence between Oxfam humanitarian and livelihood programmesKeep up to date with national and regional trends in order to fully understand the context within which OGB operates (present and future)FundraisingBe active on donor landscaping and intelligence gatheringPrepare capacity statements, concept notes and project proposals ensuring they are aimed at achieving resilient income and food security for small holder farmers especially women and youthEnsure that proposals developed for specific calls are in line with fundraising targets and priorities of the programme.Prepare monthly, quarterly, mid-term and annual reports to be submitted to Oxfam and existing as well as potential donors.Programme management and implementationEnsure programmes and projects achieve their
