Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to send England Under-21 starlet Andre Wisdom out on loan – with Owen Coyle’s Wigan heading the race, writes Alan Nixon of the Sunday People. Rodgers wants highly-rated Wisdom to play every week so he is ready for a quick recall if needed. The Latics, who also have the attraction of European football to offer next season, are favourites to land the young Yorkshireman and play him at centre-half. Fulham have also asked about Wisdom, who played for Liverpool last season and impressed at right-back, but Rodgers wants him to go to a Championship side. The 20-year-old has made 19 starts for Liverpool since his debut in 2010.
