Livestock Director Demba Jallow And Co Arrested; NIA Overcrowded With Detainees! Livestock Director Demba Jallow And Co Arrested; NIA Overcrowded With Detainees; Jammeh Instructs His Assassin Team To Torture Folks Complaining About Economic Hardship; Njogu Bah To Face Charges! The NIA headquarters in Banjul is overcrowded with detainees at this hour. The confused Gambian dictator is not pleased with the reception accorded to him during his dialogue with the people tour and as such Jammeh is ordering his security agents to arrest anyone that comes on to his mind. It is really chaotic in Banjul. The latest public official to be arrested is Mr. Demba Jallow, the Director of Livestock Services. Mr. Jallow has been arrested alongside with other government officials, the Freedom Newspaper has gathered. This is not the first time that Mr. Jallow has been picked up by the NIA. He was arrested about a year ago and detained for months and later released. Jallow got fired shortly after his previous arrest. He later secured a job with the UN, but Jammeh was able to convince him to return home to head the Livestock Services. But today, Jallow has found himself in a wonderland. He is chilling at the infested NIA mosquito cells. Demba Jallow hailed from Niamina Malikunda. Sources said Yahya Jammeh personally ordered for his arrest. He is yet to be charged. A source who reached the Freedom Newspaper said a panel has been set up to investigate Demba Jallow and co. In meantime, one of our sources, who goes with the aliases Ninkinanka, is reporting that Njogu Bah, the disgraced former Secretary General and Presidential Affairs Minister is going to be charged with giving false information to a public officer. Although, Ninkinanka did not go into specifics as to the nature of the offense Mr. Bah is going to be charged with. He said Mr. Bah will soon appear in court. In another development, a good number of Gambians have been arrested and tortured by Yahya Jammeh’s assassin team for merely complaining about the growing economic hardship in the country. The President has personally given orders to members of the security forces to arrest any Gambian, who is found lamenting about the high cost of living in the country. Jammeh has also instructed the security forces to prosecute such folks. A senior security operative at the NIA said his colleagues at the Agency have refused to take part in the torture of the complaining Gambians. Alhagie Morr Jobe and his team only enforced the arrests, but they said they would not participate in any torture—citing their past case with the state, in which they were accused of torturing NDEA agents, our source hinted. The torture of the economically disadvantaged Gambians, our source went on, is being carried out by Sanna Manjang and his fellow assassin team members. Our source said a good number of complaining Gambians have been detained at the NIA after they were brutally tortured by the jungullars.
