Bless your fresh-flowing fountain! Enjoy the wife you married as a young man! Lovely as an angel, beautiful as a rose— don’t ever quit taking delight in her body. Never take her love for granted! Why would you trade enduring intimacies for cheap thrills with a whore? for dalliance with a promiscuous stranger? Beloved, what God has for you is for you and only you. What good news that is to know that come what may, Gods promise for you is secure. So I want to pose this question to you: Why would you trade the promises of God for the uncertainty of this world? Its just as the word says, its a cheap thrill. Why would we give up the great Yes and Amen that God has spoken to you and about you for the lies of this world, the temporary fulfillment of our flesh? I encourage you today as the scripture says, never give up, never stop delighting yourself in the things of God. Enjoy Jesus as you did when you first received Him into your heart. If youve strayed, get back to what God has already said is yours.
