His agent Thabo Moloto states that they are already in negotiations with Chippa. “We have started negotiating a deal with Chippa after they showed interest so for now we are still talking. That is the club that we are talking to regarding a contract. ● Chippa United are chasing the signature of United FC captain Mpho Mvelase. ● Former Orlando Pirates striker, Jerry Sikhosana, is now coaching Tornado FC, an Easternmost Cape-based ABC Motsepe League team. ● Orlando Pirates captain Lucky Lekgwathi is still waiting to hear if his services will be retained for next season. The 37-year-olds contract expires at the end of the month, but he appears calm over his situation. “I feel good and I can still play. I have achieved a lot with this club and I will be here to serve in any capacity the chairman [Irvin Khoza] asks me to serve,” Lekgwathi told his clubs official website. ● Amajuba District Municipality in Durban will be treated to a sporting and cultural showcase when the Siyabonga Nkosi Youth Festival hits town, starting from 7 June to 17 June 2014. ● Siyabonga Sangweni is set to renew his contract with Orlando Pirates. “The only thing I will comment on is that we are in the process of negotiating a new deal with Orlando Pirates. We hope that by the end of the week we would have finalised it. ● Former youth international midfielder Cyril Mashego is heading off for trials in Europe with FK Mlada Boleslav when the Czech Republic Liga club opens up for pre-season training in a fortnight. Mashego – who spent the past season at National First Division outfit FC Cape Town – has already received an invitation letter from the Czech side requesting him to join them for a four-week stay, starting on June 16.
