Local journalist, Tony Attwater is Pete’s guest on Inside Tracks this week at 4pm on Sunday. Tony is now a page editor at the Express and Star newspaper in Wolverhampton. However for most of his working life Tony has worked in local commercial radio in the West Midlands……for 21 years at Beacon Radio and then Mercia Radio in Coventry for 10 years. During that time, Tony has witnessed and reported on so many major events, including ….the demise and rebirth of Wolves, the end of steelmaking, Goodyears gradual disappearance and the rise of Merry Hill. He has also interviewed many national and local politicians - Margaret Thatcher, Tony Benn and Dennis Turner to name but a few. Tony’s choice of music for the show is 1.
