Local peeps, I desperately need help moving on Saturday, August 30th, which is the first day of the Labor Day weekend. Nearly everything is packed in plastic bins already, with NO heavy furniture, but there are about 10 stairs going down. Im working on getting a place on the first floor to move into, so there wont be any stairs to go up. Weve (hopefully) got a trailer, a truck and I have a Blazer to load up - but I cant do any heavy lifting I just wear out too fast these days. Getting older is embarrassing at times. My one son is recovering from knee surgery and is being a HUGE help by loaning the trailer. My other son is working three jobs and is willing, but cant do it all alone. Please send me a PM to let me know if we can count on you for help that day - and God will bless you! Id be more than willing to barter a favor in the future, but the money is tight right now, too :(. The good news is that this will only take one day. The more who show up, the faster it will go. Im trying desperately to stay in the same town; but I cant promise it wont be in a different (though nearby) town. So, youll still be able to have fun Sat evening!
