Log #3 - i woke up in the dead of night to a loud thump coming for down in the studies of the INN; at first i thought it was just the owner cleaning up the first floor. i did not pay any mind to the situation, i got comfortable again and closed my eyes trying to drift off to sleep. about an hour or 2 has passed when i fell into a slumber once again only to be awoken again by a soft growl then i thump which sounded like it came from the studies just as the first one has. i lit my lantern which was on the bedside table i got up from bed and grabbed the lantern. i slowly walked to the door of the room i was occupying and slowly eased it open. i stuck my head out to see if anyone was around... - not a single soul, i should go check the first floor- ever so carefully, i stepped out of the bedroom doing my best to not make a sound to wake the other residents in the INN. i eased my down the stairs and stopped at the bottom of the stairs looking both ways. -hmm, if i remember correctly i think the owner said that the study should be.........(turns to the left) this way- with the lantern held out in front of me i could barely make out what was in the darkness, but i still managed to find the door to the studies. i pressed my ear against the cold wooden door i could barely make out a faint growling. i grabbed a hold of the doorknob and slowly turned it and pushed it opened.. what i saw in that room was...was (To be continued in log#4)
