Logan - Ive been meaning to write to you and just kept putting it off. Im really sorry for not writing sooner. Anyway, the last time I saw you was when we were talking at Ashford on our way to class. I dont remember the specifics of our conversation, but I do remember that you made me laugh. I hadnt seen you in a long time prior to that. So Im thankful that I had the opportunity to converse with you that day. Ill never know why the mysterious, sometimes twisted chain of events happen to those we care about. It really does seem so unfair. What I do know though is that you continue to live on in the hearts and souls of everyone that knew you. While we all wish you were with us in body, youre always here in spirit. With your passing, you are making a difference in the world. You have helped us realize the value of our relationships; the importance of love; the appreciation we should have for others; the generosity we must demonstrate; to feel the fear and do it anyway; to make a difference in the lives of others; to cry, laugh, care, and love; to say Im sorry; to love unconditionally; most importantly - to make the most of the limited time we all have together. And on behalf of everyone (myself included) - thank you for making the world a better, more compassionate place. Now Ive got a favor to ask of you.. make some room in your schedule - because someday, when my time comes, I plan on continuing that conversation we had in 2012. I hope theyre keeping you entertained up there. Or is it you doing the entertaining? Because I wouldnt doubt that either. Rest in peace, man.
