London weather is so much nicer this time! First, we enjoyed a traditional British breakfast with spectacular views (with and without mirrors). Spent a couple of hours at the Tate Modern (snarky remarks coming soon), followed by a visit to Institutional Investor/EuroMoney. Picked up a colleague of Mikes and had a traditional British pub lunch. Went into St. Pauls Cathedral, but didnt go on the tour. Still, I can say I was there where C and D were wed. Cab to Covent Garden, where we did some tea tasting and shopping. Then we sat down to have a drink (Ali had the traditional British tea, scones included). Walked back to our hotel via Trafalgar Square (where someone got a bit madcap), Downing Street, and the Westminster Bridge. Our hotel is the former home of the London government. Who knew? I think were going for sushi later (enough with the fried food).
