Long, long, day. 6 days of work is getting old. I am so over it already. This new department they have me in they told me today they are hiring 2 new people. So, I dont know if I am staying or going back to there I was. Total confusion as usual. The one person they were trying to hire (she failed the drug test). So, what are they doing they are giving her another drug test! How cheezy and desperate is that? So, I might get beat out of a position by a drug addict! LOL! I came home the usual Aide had to be off today and the Aide for tomorrow has to go to church. So, they are sending me random aides. It is not working. I came home today NOTHING was done. Mom had her diaper off and was scooting down in the bed. There was a note from the random Aide I gave her breakfast and changed her diaper in 7 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats not a whole lot of work. The Aide did not give Mom her meds, she did not bathe her, she did not change her linens, she did not work on the laundry, she did not even take out the trash with the soiled diaper. So, $20 per hour $10 for the agency and $10 for the Aide this is great work if you can get it. Cereal and one diaper change are you kidding me? I called the Agency to complain they said the Aide told them that Mom did not want her to do anything. I said, She has dementia! GOD knows WHO they are going to send me tomorrow.
