While sitting with my mom today she pulled back her covers and i knew what she was asking without even saying anything. I layed down next to her and she wrapped her hand in mine.. that moment made my heart skip a beat. Every memory of her during her cancer free days flashed in my mind like a movie. I heard her laughter again, and watched her make coffee one of her favorite things. I saw her sitting in our old living room with her legs crossed and her one foot shaking up and down up and down. I heard her celine dion cd playing as she cleaned our house. It was always so.loud u could hear it before u got on our street..lol.. i heard her calling for me from the bathroom cause she needed me to make sure she didnt miss a spot while curling her hair. (She did that alot)...... lol.. i miss the days i watched her as she put her make up on, or the way she picked out what she would wear before hitting the town with one of her friends. Ill miss cruling up in her bed and sleeping next to her knowing that when i got up she would be there.She spoke to me today. I asked her do u know who i am and she said of course ur my sammie jo.... she told me i smelled good and to just hold on to her... i told her i loved her and i was sorry for all the things i put her threw... she said i love u too. She kept kissing me and grabbing my hand. But the moment she put her hand on my heart and then told me to put mine on hers is what broke me. She told me i live in here.... and i said ALWAYS..... Ill never foget these moments and even though her mommy smell is gone (only a few know what i mean when i say that) and her mind inst right anymore my mommys heart has stayed the same. I heard i love u so many times today from her something i never thought i hear again. When i kissed her goodbye on her forehead and then her cheak she said no kiss me here and pointed to her lips, she never really kissed us on the lips i guess after a certain age children grow out of that but to me it was the sweetest thing in the world...
