Long story short I just got a call trying to guilt me into donating money to a State Trooper death benefit fund.Which obviously is something positive that most people wouldnt mind donating money to. The only problem was after the 5 minute guilt trip I was given, I asked a simple question: What percentage of the money goes to the actual fund? His answer: 16 percent. So $16.00 on every $100.00 donated will go to a good cause, the other $84.00 will be profit for someone making a 5 minute phone call. So make sure to ask every time, because they have to tell you.
