After traveling for the first time in the North American tour, the band begah to see the fans, with The 69 Eyes tattoos. - It is intriguing that, in the American-made influences, Elvis -based music, we have been able to export the same to the source, says the bands singer Jyrki 69 . Next year the band celebrates its 25th anniversary. The band has just released the radio hits of the assembled double album The Best Of The Helsinki Vampires . Theres also a new single Lost Without Love . Jyrki remembers the early days with the band. In modest circumstances, there was no toilet. - We had to use the empty bottles for the toilet needs. At some point, the bottles were a bit too much. It was time to check into a cabin. A few years ago, the band collaborated with Jackass star Bam Margera. -They met their favorite musicians, and they dig our music. - We have gone the distance, and for all of you. We already standing at our own feet. Recent challenges come from the music changes. The way the United States did not exportat first presented problems. A few weeks ago, the band was the for the first time in Romania. In South America, the band has performed in stadiums. - It is mind-boggling to hear your own song as sung by the big crowd. You know then you are successful. Finnish music punched through the world around ten years ago. Opportunities to combine music, culture and export business continue. Rising Finnish filmmakers and their works of music are combining in the international market. We have ideas. - The album name was deliberately called Helsinki Vampires. Everyone knows vampires and now Helsinki. There is something exotic about the two. Maybe someone can come and see our Finland (non musical aspects of Finland) becauseof our music. The 69 Eyes on success around the world, including Facebook. The top of the bands success comes from countries like the United States and Mexico.
