When you are really following the Lord , you cant always expect everone to agree with you . . . Alot of times the very good things that you do , will be made to seem as if they are bad . And made to look as if you are the one who is causing trouble . The devil has been very crafty at this method . . . Such was the case with the prophet Elijah in the book of 1 Kings . He appeared before King Ahab after they had just went thru a 3 year drought of no rain . . . Elijah had told to the king before hand that their would be a drought , but the king refused to heed his words . . listen to what the king says when Elijah appears before Him again . . . {1 Kings 18 : 17} = And it came to pass , when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel ? . . . . Now we see that the king is accusing Elijah for the drought , and proclaiming that he is the reason for the troubles of the land . . . But now listen to what Eljah says in the next verse . . . {1 Kings 18 : 18} = And he asnwered , I have not troubled Israel ; but thou , and thy fathers house , in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord , and thou hast followed Baalim . . . . People will try to make you look like the bad guy for your faith in Jesus . . . The enemy will play upon peoples feelings , and their ignorance of the scriptures , to make it seem as if your just a ranting fanatic . . . You will never be able to please everyone so make sure your focus is always on pleasing The Lord . . . In bible prophecy the waters represent people. . . People may say that they are your friends , but when you truly stand up for Jesus the sea is going to part . . . God will always divide the sea and you shall truly get a view of where your true friends stand . . Corinth 14 : 33 = For God is not the author of confusion , but of peace , as in all churches of the saints . . . The word BABYLON means confusion. . . God is seeking to bring us out of thi s state of mind , in which he is constantly saying Come out of Babylon my people . . . There is only one God and one truth . JESUS is the way , the truth and the life . If you are confused , pray to Jesus right now and ask Him to show you the way , and the truth . Give Him time to respond . This isnt a movie production , God is not on our time , but we are on His . . . The very air that we breathe comes from God and He will answer in His own time . . He loves you and He cares for you , but we must remember that He is not our Sugar Daddy . He is our Heavenly Father . . . Alot of people only call on God when they need somthing or when they have answers . Yet ! they do not show love to one another ,they also ignore his counsel and do not obey His commandments . Let us remember Him at all times for He is merciful and always ready& willing to forgive and to pardon .
