Long was I told that Wikipedia is not reliable because anyone can edit it, but the truth is that its not reliable because while everyone can edit it, only a few have a true say on what stays there. Its just going to get worse and worse as we go through the information age and facts start to get drowned by the sea of infinite points of views spewing infinite information, all curated and contextualized by people of supposed moral authority so that it gives the message they want. And the fact is that people would rather accept a simple manufactured lie than a complex truth, no one is going to put the work to wade through the ever-increasing sea of information to reach their own conclusions, journalists aint doing it and you can bet people who consume their media arent going to either.
