· “Look... The hour is near!” In its context Jesus was telling them to be watchful, alert and sober for the hour that He had spoken about, the hour of his death, was at hand. Now was not a good time to be dozing off! For us, the message concerns not Jesus’ death but His return. Keep watch for that hour is at hand! And, as Jesus warned, spiritual deception will rampant in the last days. Therefore don’t fall asleep!
