Look at Baileys new waist! Bailey was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, also known as under active thyroid, a month ago and started medication. Previously hed struggled with his weight, had bald patches and despite being a three year old boxer, he looked and moved like an old man! Even in a month hes lost nearly 3kg, his fur has grown back, and he has regained his figure - look at his waist! - and best of all, his owner says he has returned to the old Bailey who loves life, especially chasing a ball. He will need lifelong tablets, just like people with an under active thyroid, but its a simple disease to control and means Bailey will have a happy and active life. We love you Bailey :-) and its a good job you came in that day with a bad eye - as we picked this up at the same time!
