Candidates must have 5 years minimum demonstrable IT Project Management experience. Candidates must also have experience with proven client relationship skills. Project Management Responsibilities: Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plan that identifies key dependencies, risks and the critical path. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Estimate the resources needed to achieve project goals. Proactively manage changes in project scope through the change management process. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to stakeholders throughout project life cycle. Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors, influence them to take positive action and own accountability for their assigned work. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. Facilitate team and client meetings effectively. Hold regular status meetings with project team. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. Candidates must possess a strong background in scope management, schedule management and budget management. Position Requirements University degree and a minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience. Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project and Clarity. 5 years? experience in leading teams to the successful completion of projects. Adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients, and other departments. Ability to bring projects to successful completion through political sensitivity. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.Knowledge Requirements: Has clear understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Has significant experience in preparing effort and schedule estimates that are highly realistic. Possess understanding in the areas of application development, database and system design. Understand Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.Leadership Inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
