Look at yourself now, you have food, you never sleep hungry, you have got a home where you stay, you’re not sick, you aren’t on oxygen, you’re not lame, dumb, deaf and blind, you have got a job where you can at least earn some money which can sustain your living, you have got a car, you have got a piece of land, you still have your parents around, you can go to school or university, you have a kid(s), you have got a phone, you have someone who loves you, you are happy… but still you have the guts to say that God has abandoned you, you always complain that God takes long to answer your prayers, you no longer have faith in God, you no longer have time for God, you always claim that you’re busy, you can’t spare time to go to church and thank God for what he has given you, you are forgetting that it’s God who gave you everything you have which you’re taking not to be enough, you do not realize how truly blessed you are. You don’t know that someone is out there begging for the opportunity you have right now, you don’t really know that someone is out there crying and praying to God every night and day but God hasn’t answered his/her prayers. Come on, appreciate what God has done for you, stop blaming God for not providing you with what you want in time, be patient to him and believe in his perfect timing. He knows you, he listens to your prayers and he’ll double what you want. Thank him for what you have and what you are.
