Look, the label GMO just like Organic, is what is confusing. Most people when they talk about avoiding GMO food, they are not talking about cross breeding. I mean technically if thats the case, all the dog breeds in the world are Genetically Modified Organism, since their counter part is the wolf. That has nothing to do with genetically modified food that may be harmful to human consumption. What am I saying? most of the time, when people talk about GMO, they are talkwhing about the process of industrial farming, herbicide contamination, processed food and genetically food modified to create more profit instead of health. This article attempts to generalize all food as GMO, and use Tyson to validate GMO while appealing to the more science loving audience, then tell you that your are smarter after. Its a blatant PR editorial paid for by lobby. Shame on you Upworthy. The issue has never been human involvement for the purpose of increase food supply or health. Its profit only corporations role in food. Example. Monsanto just purchased the research organization which claimed correlation between decline of bees to Monsanto Herbicide. Shame on you Upworthy. One more disguised lobby pr piece, and we will no longer allow the feed.
