Look whats up at Cats Pajamas Central! Zachary Alan Carlson Kuzel, our trumpet player, known here as Uncle Zack, has built us a beautiful CHICKEN COOP! His girls arrived on Friday. Thats my grandson Ollie holding an egg one laid on the way down from Massachusetts. Pretty Feather was in her nesting box when I went down this morning. When I lifted the lid, she stood up and presented me with a beautiful brown egg. I cooked it and two from yesterday and Zack and I ate breakfast in our boots in the yard with the chickens happily digging in the mud winter has left behind. You couldnt buy that breakfast.
