Look who got adopted this weekend!!!!! Mona now called Koda. Koda was rescued 4 years ago by a foster home when it was cold outside and she was trying to get into Kroger’s. Her foster mom picked her up and took her home. When her home couldn’t be found, she went up for adoption. She was adopted by a nice family, but they had to return her to us at no fault of Koda’s. Once she was returned we had a trainer, Tonia with the Training Spot, evaluate her. We had thought Koda was dog aggressive, but it seems to be more out of fear which more than likely she was never properly socialized as a puppy. But her new mom is retired, devotes most of time to Koda and she’s also working the Tonia on continuing to socialize Koda. Other than working on socializing with dogs, Koda is perfect. She’s perfect in the house, with the grandkids and her new family adore her and we couldn’t be happier for her. We’d like to send out a special thanks to Graham Animal Clinic for always being there to help us. Koda was originally boarded with them and when she was returned they didn’t hesitate to take her back. Also a big thanks to Tonia with the Training SPOT for evaluate and fostering Koda until her new home came along.
