Look who won the VU Western Lightning Division 1 Coaches Award none other then our very own Monika Dimovski. Here is what her coach Shelley said about her and I think most of you will agree with it! .. This was not a difficult decision for me and Im sure if any of you out there have had the opportunity to coach this young lady Im sure youll all agree. I know she does not see herself as a leader, but I disagree. Her commitment to the club, her team, her training, her role within the team - and to me is second to none. As we all know, a leader leads by example and Mon Dimovski sets example after example. Mon has truly grown as a player this year continually working on her game and improving across the entirety of the season. Her reliability and accuracy under the post combined with her dedication made her a valuable commodity within the team and this has well and truly earnt her the Coaches Award for 2014.
