Looking at the world today, it scares me to death to think what the world is going to look like when my children set out to raise their children. Two school shootings in almost as many days and the fact that when the news of a school shooting comes out, the shock value is almost gone. Its more of a Where was it at this time? versus What the hell is going on with our society?. In my simple opinion, its akin to thinking a war will never be fought on US soil to think this will not eventually, unfortunately, end up in our own back yards. Right now theres comfort of sorts that its happening somewhere else. It scares the hell out of me to think we may not always be that fortunate. Prayers.
