While the role sits within the IT team and reports into the Technical Services Manager, the responsibilities are both commercial and technical in nature. As such a successful applicant will need more that just technical ability. This persons pre-sales responsibilities include: Explaining the Company games platform to external developers such that they have a clear understanding of what it is and how it works. This is critical to allowing other teams to plan and deliver on time to meet sales expectations. The Technical Services Engineer will then continue the relationship post-sales with the client to be the technical focal point for such technical, product and operational assistance needed to get a game on to the platform. Role Responsibilities The ideal candidate shall: Fully understand the capabilities of the Company platform and become the first point of contact for all matters relating to technology Manage technical, product, and operational relationships with new and existing clients of the Company platform to handle technical, product and operational questions Support the Company commercial and customer service teams to resolve any complex technical issues. Since gambling is a 24/7 activity occasional out of hours support may need to be provided Document all technical requests and responses, coordinate solution delivery Provide feedback for future product releases Work with the Company teams to ensure client needs are met Provide feedback to the product team to define platform improvements based on client feedback Continuously keep apprised of new product and technical releases that would affect the Company clients Candidate Experience and Skillset 2+ years experience in one or more of these roles: Sales Engineer, Project Manager, Technical Support or Development Excellent English communication and customer-facing skills Be educated to degree level in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
