My very sweet and awesome dad got to fly to Washington yesterday for the Honor flight for veterans. I picked him up at airport last night. WOW! 200 plus people came to see the brave men who fought for us in world war l, ll and Korean. Bagpipers, parade, they had it all. It was described to us as this by a spokesperson, many if these men didnt get a parade or even a welcome home. There were no pats on the back. No respect. So lets give them what they have waited years for. Really!! God good thing Im not emotional! NOT! Very touching and sweet. Hug a vet and say thank you. We owe them our lives.
