Looking for a good home for Pedro........ Our family has had Pedro for almost a year now and we have decided that we are not a good fit for him. He is an intelligent, loving, and faithful companion. He is not a typical Jack Russell in that he is not hyper or high maintenance. He does need to be walked daily, and minds very well on a leash. Pedro is not food aggressive, aggressive towards other dogs, and cats, we dont know. What Pedro NEEDS is a family (no small children) or individual who is quiet, chill, has few visitors, and just enjoys a good lapdog. He is an anxious dog and when anxious he has become aggressive. He is extremely hand shy and it is very evident he was beaten severely when he was a puppy, the vet commented that his one ear is limp because it was broken. He is very territorial and protective of his home and owner, but because of his past will lash out if you approach him too quickly or he senses anger and is afraid he is going to be struck or hurt. Our home has one quiet, predictable, and chill person and 3 loud, obnoxious, social, and extroverted people. He needs a place where he can be himself and be loved unconditionally for what he is. A sweet, furry little introvert.
